DAMPER FOR HEAT EXCHANGER

As you know ProLam is a mass manufacturer of dampers so today I decided to tell you about one damper in particular. It's a damper for a heat exchanger. It is made with a particular shape of corners 45 degrees to optimize space inside the air handling unit. This damper is bypass, as we see this part of the damper is closed and this one is open in the same time. It was made especially for heat exchanger's needs, also goes with a motor holder. Let's see how to assemble it to our damper. We can attach different sizes of motors from a little one to a big one, we need to move this arrow down for the little one, for the middle size here and the big one on top. On the reverse side you need to screw here and then we attach our motor holder to the damper.

 This particular metal damper is pitch 100 but we can do it in pitch 50 as well. We also produce custom-made dampers of all sizes. Our range has two types of dampers , full  metal damper with aluminium gears and aluminium dumper with nylon gears and nylon corner stubs.
